Abelin Linazisoro Azkue

Zumaia (Gipuzkoa),1942.

He completed his elementary education up to the age of fourteen. He has had experience in many different jobs: he worked in an office for seventeen years, in a furniture factory doing carpentry work for ten years, as a teacher with the AEK (an organisation which runs Basque language and literacy courses for adults) for three years, as an actor doing dubbing work for a similar number of years and as a television actor for seven years. He became famous in the Goenkale soap opera produced by the ETB (the Basque Autonomous Community broadcasting network). He is now retired.

In addition, his pen has made appearances in the written press; he has contributed to Egin, Euskaldunon Egunkaria, Gara andBerria. He has also written for three local magazines.

He has written three novels: Axun, published by Susa in 1995, Iraganean galdua, published by Txalaparta in 2001 and the last one i>Aitortza
