In 1993 he worked as the scriptwriter for the Berbaguren series broadcast by the ETB (television broadcasting corporation of the Basque Autonomous Community); he later wrote the dialogues and storylines for the Goenkale soap opera and also the dialogues for the Benta Berri programme.

In his work Azukrea belazeetan he tells stories entrenched in the farming atmosphere of Gipuzkoa. In the opinion of the critic Jon Kortazar, who reviewed this work (Euskal Literatura XX. Mendean ) Mujika's characters are portrayed without any protection and the author shows maturity.

He has translated into Basque Oscar Wilde's Salome, Sylvain Saulnier's Marie ttikia and Javier Aguirre-Gandarias' Soles (Eguzkiak).
